Art Journal Conversion Workshop

Interested in learning how I create my multi-layered art journal pages?  Art Journal Conversion will carry you through the step-by-step process I go through in creating my art journal pages.  I share my thoughts about why I choose the products I do and why I make the decisions I make as I work.  Watch every step and hear my thoughts and creative process for each stage.  See how there are no mistakes and everything is fixable.

What Students are Saying:

"I like all the design thoughts on things that you do that are deliberate and the things that are just whatever is handy. I really liked the videos where you talk through each step with explanations of what you were doing and why. I think students will find it every encouraging to hear that there are times during the process that you are not liking what is showing up and then how to rectify that. These videos is very revealing and educational!" -Sandi K.

"I'm so glad I took this workshop and will certainly revisit these videos and sign up for another one.  Great explanations, demonstrations, and encouragement, Roben-Marie.  You're a good teacher!  Thanks."  -Lynne

How does the Art Journal Conversion Workshop differ from the Mixed Media Mayhem Workshop?

Art Journal Conversion Workshop:  In this workshop I walk you through the step-by-step process of creating finished journal pages. This workshop is more advanced than the Mixed Media Mayhem workshop. Once pages are completed, I show how I create my mixed media journals from them.
This workshop features 19 videos with approximately 4.5 hours of instruction.

Mixed Media Mayhem Workshop: This workshop is geared toward the beginner. I show a variety of basic techniques to get your journal pages "started." We do not complete the layering process in this workshop, but give you a base from which to finish your pages. I show two completed projects: file folder mixed media piece and a mail art piece. The third project is a painted canvas cover into which we sew all the painted file folders.
There is also a bonus mail art video.
This workshop features 21 videos with approximately 10 hours of instruction.
