How to make your own textured art canvases

As I create, I am mindful of ways I can “stretch” my supplies as well as the art I actually create. Over the years, I have scanned many journal pages, random papers and finished art pieces to create products for using, gifting and selling.

There is nothing quite like taking a piece of art and transforming it into another creation. My favorite products to create have always been stickers, artists papers and cards. But, lately I have been creating these adorable textured art canvases from pieces of my original art. Because they are only 4 x 4, I am able to cut small pieces from my art collages and/or under paper to make them and they are so quick and easy!

A couple things I love about these guys:

1. Because I am using paper collages, the end result is a textured finish with some bumps and wrinkles to give them character.
2. The cold wax finish makes them touch-worthy!!!

Let me share my quick and easy process so you can be well on your way to creating some from your own art.

Enjoy!
