Using Inks in Art Journaling...
There are so many choices of inks on the market today it can be hard to choose. I use a variety of inks in my work, including spray inks (Dylusions or Adirondack by Ranger) and Liquitex Professional Acrylic INK! The spray inks can be used by spritzing them through stencils or even dropping a paintbrush into the bottle and painting with them. The Liquid Acrylic Inks can be added to spray bottles or they can be used with the bottle's dropper. They are especially nice because when they dry they become permanent.
For this week, I took piece of newsprint and sprayed inks through a stencil to start my background. I brushed on other inks to give the page a wash. I adhered the paper to the page in my journal and added doodles, stickers, acrylic paints and scribbles. I chose to journal vertically with a pencil and made it slightly illegible. How will you use inks in your journal this week?
