Using Texture Paste in Art Journaling
Hello!
This week we take a look at adding texture paste in our art journals. Texture paste is a creamy, lightly whipped substance that spreads like frosting. I generally apply it with a pallet knife. It works great with stencils, which is how I used it on my page today. I have even used dry wall spackle as a substitute.
I placed stencils onto my page and spread the texture paste onto the stencil, lifted the stencil and allowed the paste to dry. Once dry, it is firm but a tad spongy. You can paint on it and even sand it smooth. I left my texture paste flowers white and painted and doodled around them.
How will you use texture paste this week in your journal?
